Autobax – automotive after-market specialists– celebrates 50 years of business this year.

“The company, which was established in 1969 as a modest engine parts agency, selling mainly pistons – was the first acquisition of Arnold Goldstone, CEO of Invicta Holdings Limited, in 1995,” explains John Black, managing director, Autobax. “Autobax, which now forms part of the Engineering Solutions Group (ESG) business segment of Invicta Holdings Limited, has expanded its operation significantly, to become a leading supplier of automotive products and services to vehicle manufacturers and the automotive aftermarket in sub-Saharan Africa.

“Autobax, which has been the preferred Gates service provider locally for over 35 years and the sole country-wide distributor of the Gates range of automotive timing components, is also the exclusive kit packer for Timken products.

“The company’s extensive range of quality-branded automotive parts also encompasses oil pumps, timing chain, bearings and allied products – supplied by leading manufacturers, including MRK, NTN, Europart, STC and NSK.

“Strategies to maintain the company’s leading position in a highly competitive sector include setting benchmarks for the company to meet stringent international standards, regulations, legislation and other applicable obligations, in every aspect of our business.”

An exciting development for Autobax at the end of 2018, was the acquisition of the global Driveshaft Parts Group, which services passenger cars, light commercial, heavy-duty, off-highway and agricultural vehicles, as well as vehicles for industrial sectors, including steel mills, paper mills and marine.

Through this acquisition, the Driveshaft Parts Group is benefitting from valuable synergies that enhance the company’s leading position in the automotive and power transmission component industry.

The Driveshaft Parts Group – with five outlets in South Africa and branches in Poland, Ukraine, Spain and the United Kingdom – specialises in the supply and support of universal and CV joints, propshaft support bearings and all components relating to the repair of driveshafts and complete shafts. Apart from the in-house trademark, key brands include Spicer, Tirsan Kardan and Gewes.

Another recent development for Autobax was the introduction in May this year, of the latest APG brand – AGRI PARTS GLOBAL. This specialist range augments the company’s world-class offering to the agricultural market, both locally and internationally.

The company’s well-planned and carefully implemented expansion programme over 50 years sees the Autobax team continue to expand its product range and solutions-offering, to meet exact market demand.

comments are always welcome on Successful English posts. In fact, they’re encouraged. However, to be sure they contribute to my goals for this site, I will moderate all comments. In other words, I will read and approve them before they appear on the site.
Requiring registration or using advanced commenting systems will reduce the amount of spam you receive. However, it may also lower the overall number of comments you receive. This is something to consider when you choose a blog comment system and configure your settings.

  • at 10:03 am

Most blogging platforms such as WordPress, Blogger and Tumblr have a built-in commenting component. With Drupal, the default comment module must be enabled.
Depending on your platform, the base comment system will allow you to configure options, such as whether people need to register for your website to comment or they can freely comment with their name, email and website address.

  • at 10:10 am

The main reason to use the base comment system is that it doesn’t involve any additions to your website. It is usually ready to go when you set up your website. The second reason is speed. A past study by Pingdom revealed that the base comment system on WordPress is faster than the top third-party comment systems.
The downside of the base comment system on any blogging platform is that it will only have basic features. Advanced moderation functionality and spam-handling involves adding plugins to your website.

  • at 10:15 am

Most people will be familiar with the base commenting system from any of the top platforms. The only missing element for some comment authors on these systems are their photos, as only other bloggers will have images linked to their emails or accounts.
The second most-used commenting system is Facebook Comments, which is mostly due to the fact that Facebook is the most popular social media network. With 968 million daily active users, you can be assured that people who visit your blog will not only have a Facebook account, but will also be logged into it.

idea of a user in his/her brain that how a user can know it.
Thus that’s why this paragraph is perfect. Thanks!
